Product Overview
Novia® Black+ Construction Wrap Breather Membrane is a 2.7m x 100m wall breather membrane which is a lightweight, versatile breather membrane designed for use in all insulated wall applications. The material meets EN 13859-1 for pitched roofing and EN 13859-2 for walls. However due to the roll size, roof applications are not advised. Novia® Black+ Construction Wrap has excellent water resistance but still provides high breathability. It also complies with EN 13501-1 fire classification grade E. The product is completely black on one side, grey on the reverse, with no text or images on, except for a 150mm overlap line.
Novia® Black+ Construction Wrap meets the requirements for UKCA marking, originally introduced under the 2013 Construction Products Regulations with CE marking. Under this European directive, all products covered by a current hEN (harmonised European Norm) must comply with the new standard. Third party accreditation is no longer sufficient. This has been adapted to UKCA following the UK departure from the EU.
We also offer our Novia® Building Wrap Breather Membrane as a lower cost, entry level 2.7m x 100m wall breather membrane. The product is a lightweight breather membrane designed for use in all insulated wall applications.
For a material with higher fire rating, please see our Novia FR Breather Membrane which is Class B-s1,d0 fire rated.

To install Novia breather membranes, we recommend using two tape sealing system.
Our Double Sided Adhesive Tape is used on the laps of the breather membrane, and our Breather Membrane Lap Tape is used to complete the seal, keeping down any excess membrane which may get caught in the wind.
